Job Description: Salon Manager

As a Salon Manager, your role is essential in ensuring the success and smooth operation of our salon and team. You will be responsible for organizing the salon environment, setting daily targets, managing equipment, stock, and client information, and providing exemplary leadership in customer service to uphold our high standards, especially during peak times.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organize: Ensure the salon and team have all the necessary resources for success, including a well-equipped environment, daily targets, motivated staff, and efficient operations to accommodate our high volume of clients.

2. Communicate: Lead the team to meet performance expectations through effective communication and utilize technology to keep everyone motivated, organized, and accountable in a fast-paced environment.

3. Develop: Foster continuous skill development and knowledge sharing among the team to inspire them to excel amidst the demands of our busy salon. Organize team-building activities to enhance job satisfaction.

4. Target: Contribute to the salon's growth by managing sales targets effectively and finding innovative ways to improve performance while maintaining exceptional customer experiences.

5. Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of technical services, products, and individual team skill levels to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold our high standards.

6. Marketing: Actively promote and maximize salon business through various channels and events, serving as the spokesperson for all offerings while ensuring a seamless customer experience.

7. Performance: Utilize booking software to analyze sales reports, manage inventory, and ensure popular products are readily available to meet the demands of our busy clientele.

8. Administration: Ensure adherence to reporting procedures, salon procedures, health and safety protocols, and HR processes, while maintaining operational excellence.

9. Training & Development: Identify training needs, maintain high standards in product knowledge and service application, and keep the team motivated through regular meetings to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

10. Human Resources: Manage staff appraisals, disciplinary issues, punctuality, and attendance in accordance with company guidelines to support our high operational standards and customer experience.

11. Image: Lead by example in maintaining salon standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and grooming, ensuring a welcoming environment for our clients.

12. Stock: Ensure the salon is well-equipped and organized to operate efficiently and effectively, meeting the demands of our busy salon operations.

13. Working Relationships: Foster positive relationships with customers and team members, provide support, and encourage a collaborative and positive work environment to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a high-volume setting.
